Dj David Chong

DJ on Radio Nova for 3 Years, then creator of the label Sunshine Funk, David Chong was aslo the resident DJ at the Gibus in Paris. Author of a myriad albums since 1993 and co author with Dee Nasty for the theme music of the Techno Parade in 1999 "Music make me Dance".

David Chong has collaborated with American Labels such as Guidance and Trax, giving him reorganization on the international market and a nomination for best European re- mixer of the Year by American Djs.

David started as a trainee in the Guillaume Tell Recording Studio, at the time the best in town. Six months later, David is fired for no showing up at a session. His trump card: He meets a publicist who lends him his professional home studio where he will make his first three 12" inches that will come out on a small label in `93. From then on, david makes records the wild way and goes around most of the independent Labels (Pschent, Basenotic...)

1997:reunion with Bruce Skin, head sound engineer at Guillaume Tell`s. He has his own studio, Avec Brio. Both found of Funk, Bruce and David create the Sundhine Funk collection and pull out four 12" inches.

At the sam etime, David goes on the air with Sunshine Mix on Radio Nova where he meets Dee Nasty, the Hip-Hop chemist. Together they bring forth the theme song for the 1999 Techno Parade -Music make me dance.

David Chong has found a perfect balance between a dynamic dance floor and subtle harmony on his new album with his vocal and melodic house music. His sound is worked in the most traditional American fashion with a funky,soulful and dancefloor movement. The deep base and the electro keyboard sound are accompanied by brilliant talented voices including Gary Mudbone, Kaina, Karl the voice...
